CfOD provides innovative management and leadership development programs to some of Australia’s largest organisations.
We use a number of proven tools, academic models and practical techniques to facilitate meaningful behavioural change in organisations, based on the alignment between values and clearly expressed outcomes.
The role of manager is as much about leading people as it is about managing the delivery of a service. The impact of people in these roles on their teams, the organisation and the community cannot be underestimated. Many ‘leaders’ are technically very competent but have had limited opportunity to develop their capability around the important skills of leading people.
Our leadership programs are designed to address this gap and encourage a personal journey to develop leadership qualities which impact positively on the work environment and the people who work in it.
Participants in our leadership programs are challenged to see, think and act with strategic foresight by rethinking how they see the present and how they can create a preferred future for their staff and their stakeholders. They will also learn to vary their management style, giving them greater flexibility and precision in their leadership and management practice.
Our programs introduce the relationship between self-mastery and effective leadership. They challenge participants to think and act with foresight, encouraging them to revise how they see the present and how they can create a preferred future for themselves, their teams and their organisation.

Programs are tailored for each context and organisation and may involve both group training and individual coaching or mentoring sessions. We also provide highly successful Manager as Coach Programs, which include Action Learning components so managers can explore and practice a coaching style of management in a safe and supportive environment.
